Newsline: Mike French to Step Down

The Alliance is pleased to announce a planned leadership transition. After four impactful years with the organization, our Executive Director, Mike French, will be implementing a succession plan. Mike will be handing over the reins to our Deputy Director, Sarah Tober.

The Alliance Board is announcing the acceptance of a succession plan presented by our Executive Director, Mike French. The plan calls for Mike to transition out of the organization and be succeeded by Sarah Tober, our current Deputy Director, effective July 1, 2024.

Newsline: Alliance forming plan for early childcare

The Alliance has applied for $55,000 in state grant funding to address the significant childcare challenges in La Plata County.

The RHA has received a grant of nearly $1 million from the Durango Industrial Development Foundation to create a low-interest evolving loan fund to support local workforce housing initiatives. The Alliance will administer the fund, and is starting the application process for the Housing Catalyst Revolving Loan Program in late spring of this year.

Our assets and efforts have increased significantly over the past few years. This growth is proof of the direction the Alliance is taking.
