PCC Southwest, in collaboration with the La Plata Economic Development Alliance and the Fort Lewis College Center for Innovation, will offer a Networking+ class.
Rental Assistance Program
With 1st Southwest Bank
The La Plata County Workforce Rental Assistance Program offers low-cost, fixed-rate micro-loans of up to $5,000 to cover first month’s rent, last month’s rent and/or a security deposit for eligible La Plata County renters.
3 year workforce housing
This housing investment strategy prioritizes the key steps necessary to maximize the creation of housing affordable to the local workforce across La Plata County.
Housing Catalyst Fund
A public-private partnership to create seed funding to support below-market housing development in La Plata County. This application round will prioritize projects ready to pursue time-limited state funding opportunities.
Trailing Spouse Initiatives
Supporting Your New Employee and Their Family
If you are an Alliance member, you may participate in the Trailing Spouse Initiative. It is designed to assist in the recruitment of positions that are otherwise difficult to fill locally. Examples may include technical, specialized, experienced, or managerial positions.
