Our community is taking on the challenge of addressing a housing crisis, and the Alliance has offered a presentation on the basic elements of housing — from subsidized solutions to workforce housing to market-rate developments. Durango’s voters approved Ballot Issue 4A, a $90 million bond issues to the Durango School District 9-R. $63 million of that bond can be spent on local contracts, and the Alliance wants to help local businesses succeed in securing those contracts.
