The Alliance can help you apply the State of Colorado’s workforce training programs and dollars through partnerships with Fort Lewis College and Pueblo Community College – Southwest. Fort Lewis College offers bachelor’s degrees in business, engineering and computer engineering, as well as internships, workforce opportunities, training and mentoring. Southwest Colorado Community College develops customized workforce training to help employees develop skills and grow within your company.
Economic Development Help Through Region 9
Region 9 oversees La Plata County economic development dollars and can contribute tax credits for capital investment, job creation, research and development, and other business initiatives linked to Enterprise Zones.
Beyond Strategic Planning and Business Strategy
Businesses that export goods or services outside of La Plata County may be eligible for economic development block grants funded by the City of Durango and the Alliance, and matched by State of Colorado incentives.
Federal Assistance with Economic Growth
